Amanda Meyer is a fundraising and partnerships powerhouse with nearly 15 years of unique experience across the social sector. She started her career in politics and writing, working on Capitol Hill with the US House of Representatives and for a startup newspaper after completing graduate school with a Master of Public Administration from James Madison University.

Amanda went on to spend over a decade with Global Impact, a premier philanthropic intermediary that raises and moves hundreds of millions of dollars around the world annually. She partnered with leadership to design the firm’s consulting practice that has since attracted global recognition for many of the projects she’s led.

She’s been in the boardroom with dozens of global brands looking to her for strategies to attract private development or make philanthropic investments. She’s worked with Action Against Hunger, Catholic Relief Services, World Relief, The Power of Nutrition, Amref Health Africa, and Opportunity International among others on principal gifts, campaigns, exclusive donor events and galas, eight-figure grants, and leadership legacy planning. Notably, she helped launch Comic Relief’s iconic Red Nose Day campaign in the US and worked four years on the corporate partnerships strategy; during that period, the campaign generated nearly $150M. Her corporate portfolio has included Avery Dennison Foundation, Samsung, Johnson Controls, and Hilton Worldwide, building international grantmaking strategies and employee engagement programs.

She lives in beautiful Virginia Beach, Virginia, with her husband and precious one-year-old daughter and three-year-old son.
