Myla Burns Bio
Myla Burns is a nonprofit systems and operations leader who has helped some of the country’s largest universities, hospitals, and advocacy organizations transform how they manage fundraising and constituent data.
With more than 15 years of experience, Myla brings a rare combination of technical expertise, team leadership, and a deep understanding of nonprofit development strategy. At Zuri Group, she led teams of 20+ consultants and partnered with major clients in higher education and healthcare to implement Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce, and digital fundraising systems—building the infrastructure nonprofits need to raise more, work smarter, and increase their impact.
Her work at Best Friends Animal Society helped improve data quality, drive revenue growth, and modernize how fundraising data was managed and used.
A frequent speaker on topics including data hygiene, implementation strategy, and change management, Myla holds a degree in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and studied international development in Thailand.
